(Dorothy Louise Benson) Adermann, 83, of Altamont died at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 1986, at her home. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Altamont, with burial in Highland Lawn Cemetery, Terre Haute, Ind. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Kull Funeral Home, Altamont. Memorials may be made to the Altamont Lutheran Interparish School Library Fund. Mrs. Adermann was born May 3, 1903, in Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of John and Louise (Hiensch) Benson. She married Wilbert P. "Feely" Adermann in 1930. He died in 1985. She was a retired elementary schoolteacher, having taught for 45 years in the Altamont School District, a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Altamont, and a charter member of Delta Alpha Kappa teachers sorority. Surviving are her nephew, George Russell Hammerling of Terre Haute, Ind.; niece, Mrs. Alex (Vera) Cavenaile of Springfield; three great-nephews; and one great niece. She was preceded in death by one sister. Dorothy married Wilbert Philip Adermann, son of Ferdinand D. Adermann and Maria Albertine Heiden, on 30 Aug 1930 in Terre Haute, Vigo, Indiana, United States.1 (Wilbert Philip Adermann was born on 25 Oct 1904 in Altamont, Effingham, Illinois, United States 9 10 and died on 2 Dec 1985 in Altamont, Effingham, Illinois, United States 9.)
