Edith Arbuckle
Dies At Home
On Richland

Mrs. Edith Arbuckle, 69, of
1008 Richland avenue died at
6:35 a.m. today in her home.
Mrs. Arbuckle, who resided
alone, had apparently suffered a
stroke Thursday morning. She was
found by neighbors who had
missed seeing her about the
premises. She was in a coma and
did not regain consciousness be-
fore she died.
She was born in Cumberland
county near Toledo on January 25,
1882. She was married to Albert
Yocum in 1897. Mr. Yocum died
in 1915. To this union were born
four sons and one daughter. One
son Leroy, preceded his father in
death. Mrs. Arbuckle was mar-
ried to William Franklin Arbuckle
in 1917.
She was a member of the First
Christian church and the Linden
Camp Royal Neighbors No. 378.
Surviving are three sons, Clar-
ence Yocum of Peoria, Leonard
Yocum of Allen Park, Mich., and
John Ervin Yocum of Detroit,
Mich., a daughter Mrs. William
(Mary) Miller of Detroit Mich., a
foster son John Murphy of De-
troit, Mich.; five brothers, Em-
ory Jenkins of Lerna, Louis Jenk-
ins of Terre Haute, Ind., Frank
Jenkins of Decatur, Ben Jenkins
of Martinsville and Charles Jenk-
ins of Effingham; one sister, Mrs.
Charles (Olive) Warner of Ef-
fingham. Eight grandchildren and
three great grandchildren also
survive.
The body is in Johnson funeral
home. Funeral arrangements are
incomplete.

Sister Dies
Mrs. Edith Arbuckle of Effing-
ham, a sister of Emory Jenkins of
Lerna, died Friday at her home in
Effingham. She was 69. Mrs. Ar-
buckle, who lived along, apparently
suffered a stroke. She was found
by neighbors.
Mrs. Arbuckle was born Jan. 25,
1882, in Cumberland county near
Toledo.
In addition to Jenkins, she leaves
four other brothers, three sons, a
daughter, a foster son, one sister,
either grandchildren, and three
great grandchildren.
